North Manchester FM 106.6 celebrates its first birthday this Summer! North Manchester FM 106.6 is a local community radio station which broadcasts top quality shows 24/7 from their state-of-the-art studios at One Central Place in Moston. All of the station’s programme content is developed and presented by a team of volunteers – with no input from any of the staff. So yes, that fantastic show you’re listening to is all their own work!
NMFM is incredibly proud of all of their volunteers who work very hard to bring listeners up-to-date with news, views and reviews from the local area. They are all responsible for sourcing their own guests and don’t feel that just because they are on a community station that this should compromise on great quality.
The station is incredibly proud of their journey in the past 365 days – from the well-loved broom cupboard, to state of the art studios based at One Central Park, with over 81,500 listeners, 7x members of the team, 100+ volunteers and 24/7 broadcasting with a full schedule. Phew!!!
